St Nicolau, Sete Cidades, S. Miguel, Azores. Little village inside a volcanic crater. This photo was taken after the locals finished decorating the street with flower petals. It's a welcome ritual in respect of the Saint of the village (St. Nicolau), the music band and the pelgrins who carry the image of the Saint do the tour of the village following these impressive colorful streets of petals.
